Storytelling is not a new concept. We all have grown up listening to stories. Some of us have listened it from our Grandma, some from mother and some from their aunts. It has been in a practice of the mothers to tell stories to their kids since from ages. In every culture, storytelling is considered to be an effective and strong tool of communication. It also becomes easier for parents to teach something to their children with the help of telling stories.

It helps children in several ways. The prime role it plays is in the learning process of the children and also helps them to put the daily experience in order. Many of the stories from the lot are related to Real Life, and many of the times we happen to fall in such situations that become more or less similar to the story. Therefore, sometimes stories help us to get us out of any trap or bad situation, in case we ever fall in. When we listen to any story are been told to us by our adults, most of the time at the end of the story we are asked to fetch out the moral.

Therefore, adults tell stories to kids to teach them the moral of the story, so that they can make use of such moral in some or the other point of their life. Stories are not only stories; there are many mysteries that are hidden behind those stories. They are also used to convey values to the kids.
